Hi. Yes, when I was first attuned to Reiki seven years ago, Josh, this point was made very clear to me. Reiki does not deplete your personal stores of energy, but (if anything) actually increases those stores while you are giving another person a Reiki session.

But I believe this principle is true of some of the other energy systems (or, as some people say, other energies). For instance, I believe the same assertion is made about Vortex Healing energy. It does not use up the practitioner's energy, but draws on a universal energy of some kind.

People who have been attuned to both Reiki and Vortex Healing are telling me they can distinguish a difference in feeling between the two energies. And one person told me that Vortex seems, in his experience, to have certain advantages in healing certain kinds of problems, as compared with Reiki.
